At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in our country on December 21 on a state visit.

At the international airport of Tashkent, the distinguished guest was met by the President of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The heads of state greeted each other warmly and had a brief conversation.

Then the leader of Kazakhstan visited the Yangi Uzbekiston park, where, according to tradition, he laid flowers at the Independence Monument.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was thoroughly acquainted with the history of creation and the concept of the sculptural composition of this complex.
