Teleconference united schools in Tashkent and Minsk

TASHKENT, December 21. /"Dunyo" NA/. Yesterday, a teleconference was held between secondary schools No. 110 of the city of Tashkent and No. 36 of the city of Minsk, a Dunyo news agency correspondent reports with reference to the data of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Uzbekistan (SCO) Center for Public Diplomacy.
The heads of two secondary schools in Tashkent and Minsk - Umida Rashidova and Svetlana Korolik welcomed the participants of the teleconference. They noted that this project was a good opportunity to receive and transfer best practices, knowledge, ideas, as well as to promote the intellectual, cultural, physical and moral development of the children of the two countries.
In the artistic part of the teleconference, popular melodies, songs and poems were played, as well as Uzbek and Belarusian dances performed by young teams of two schools, whose work highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the Uzbek and Belarusian people, friendship, peace and prosperity reigning in these countries. Presentations of educational programs of two schools were also demonstrated.
The event was organized by the SCO Public Diplomacy Center, the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the Belarusian Peace Foundation, as well as the administration of two metropolitan schools in Uzbekistan and Belarus.
