On February 16, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Topical issues of further development of multifaceted cooperation and strengthening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia were discussed.
The heads of state paid special attention to the issues of increasing mutual trade, deepening industrial cooperation between leading enterprises, and implementing investment projects in priority sectors within the framework of the joint Project Office.
In this context, the importance of holding the international exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia” and the Uzbek-Russian Forum of Regions.
The leaders of the two states also exchanged views on the issues of intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and also considered the schedule of upcoming events.
