Within the framework of the New Tashkent project, it is planned to create favorable living conditions for 1 million people on the territory of 20 thousand hectares with the provision of appropriate infrastructure. At the first stage, apartment buildings for 60 thousand residents, 30 schools, 20 kindergartens, a multidisciplinary hospital and 5 family polyclinics will be built. The New Uzbekistan University, the new building of the National Library, the theater, schools of creativity, trade and service facilities will also be located here.
