A meeting with Uzbek students took place in Minsk

Minsk, 17 may /"Dunyo" IA/. Yesterday, representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with Uzbek students studying at the Belarusian State Academy of Communications (BSAC).
During the meeting with Rector Andrey Zenevich, the positive experience of Uzbek-Belarusian cooperation in the field of education was emphasized. He also expressed the interest of BGAS in expanding the joint educational program (2+2, 3+1, 1+1) and he informed that in the near future he plans to visit Tashkent and hold talks with interested universities of Uzbekistan to attract students and researchers to BGAS.
Further, a round table was held in the assembly hall of the academy with Uzbek students who were informed about the holding of early presidential elections on July 9 this year, as well as about the possibility of voting at a polling station organized at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Minsk.
The diplomats also informed the audience about the possibility of early voting in the presidential elections, which will be held from June 28 to July 5.
Along with this, at the meeting with compatriots, explanatory and preventive work was carried out on measures of their own security, the need for strict compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, as well as timely registration for consular registration.
Students also had the opportunity to directly ask their questions and get comprehensive answers to them.
