For the first time in BSUIR, diplomas were awarded to graduates of the joint faculty with TUIT

A solemn ceremony of awarding a diploma was held on the eve of "Youth Day" to the first graduates of the joint faculty of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and radioelectronics (BSUIR) from Uzbekistan (a total of 158 students).
Rector Vadim Bogush noted that the foundation of a high level of cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan, laid by the leaders of the countries - Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, makes it possible to implement many projects, including the joint faculty of BSUIR and TUIT: “Academic cooperation is the cooperation that is the basis of so many relationships, so we sincerely welcome and will support those of you who will link their lives with a scientific career. And perhaps, in a few years, we will consider joint scientific projects, where the leaders from the Uzbek side will be graduates of our joint faculty. And these developments will be world-class developments.” Vadim Anatolyevich wished the graduates the achievement of all goals, maintaining relations with their Belarusian friends, success in their professional activities, and in life in general.
Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus Rahmatulla Nazarov congratulated the first graduates of the joint faculty on the completion of an important life stage, thanked the BSUIR and TUIT teams for the development of international cooperation, and emphasized the high level of Belarusian education: “In 2018, only 38 citizens of Uzbekistan studied in Belarus , and today the number of students physically located in Belarus is about 1,700 people.”
Lenur Kazimov, a graduate of the Faculty of Information Technology and Management, delivered a response speech from the graduates: “I want to thank all the teachers, the entire administration of the university for their understanding, and wish my colleagues to find their own way, their right path.”
Vice-rectors and deans of the universities wished the graduates happiness, good luck, good health, continue to explore and not stop there.
The award ceremony ended with a performance of vocal, instrumental and dance groups of the Center for Cultural and Mass Work of the University.
