The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belarus begins his duties in Minsk

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan, Rakhmatulla Nazarov, has officially assumed his duties in the capital of Belarus.
Since 2021, he has represented our country as an adviser to the Embassy, Chargé d'Affaires. He is 53 years old, with degrees from the Uzbek State University of World Languages and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
Rakhmatulla Nazarov commenced his career in 1995 in commercial structures in Tashkent. In 1997, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an attaché of the Treaty Department, later holding various positions in several departments and embassies, including Belgium and Kyrgyzstan. He also served as the national coordinator for the affairs of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Over the years, he worked at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, served as the first director of the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Tashkent, and was elected as a member of the Senate.
Before his recent appointment to Belarus, he held the position of Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He is proficient in Russian, English, and French.
It's worth noting that the Embassy in Minsk was established in 2018. Rakhmatulla Nazarov replaces Nosirzhon Yusupov, who headed the Embassy from 2018 to 2021.
