The participants of the new international route are discussing the practical aspects of launching the multimodal transport corridor "Belarus - Russia - Kazakhstan - Uzbekistan - Afghanistan - Pakistan."

According to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, Deputy Minister of Transport Jasurbek Choriyev represented Uzbekistan at the meeting.
The parties discussed practical aspects of organizing sustainable cargo transportation along the new international route, as well as mechanisms for coordinating projects aimed at developing logistics infrastructure and simplifying transit procedures between countries.
The delegations expressed interest in the effective integration of their national transport systems and emphasized the importance of mutual coordination of actions within the framework of the implementation of this corridor.
Recall that a memorandum of understanding on the creation and development of the corridor was signed in November 2023 in Tashkent within the framework of the first transport forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries. The initiative is aimed at forming new logistics routes that contribute to the expansion of trade and economic ties in the region.
