On September 18, the 38th meeting of the International Association of Academies of Sciences (IAFA) was held in the Presidium building of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences.
The event was attended by presidents and heads of the Academies of Sciences of more than 16 countries of the world, including China, Russia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Armenia, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Tajikistan, and others. The event was also attended by the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academician Shavkat Ayupov, and Vice President Sirojiddin Mirzayev.
At the event, important decisions were made to strengthen international scientific cooperation and expand opportunities for exchanging experience in the field of science and innovation.
The activity and contribution of Uzbek scientists to the international scientific community is highly appreciated. This, in turn, is seen as a recognition of the attention being paid to the development of science in our country and the opportunities being created. This event is expected to create a solid foundation for the further development of mutually beneficial scientific cooperation and future joint scientific projects.
