It was noted that in the first half of this year, the region's economy grew by 8.8 percent, industry by 9.2 percent, services by 16.1 percent, and investment by 8.9 percent.
– It is not the growth figures that are important to us, but how each indicator changes the daily life of every family, – said the head of our state.
It was noted that despite the limited land and natural resources in Andijan, there are opportunities such as a mobile population, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a large number of young people, an industrial school and a large market.
Over the past ten years, 20 trillion UZS have been allocated to the region from the republican budget, and 90 trillion UZS from banks for entrepreneurship. This year alone, 6 trillion UZS have been allocated to improve the welfare of the population.
It was emphasized that the powers granted to khokims and the financial opportunities created must become a worthy result.
