Compatriot in Belarus: constitutional reforms carried out in Uzbekistan are important for strengthening democratic institutions and the way of development of our country.

In connection with an important political event – a national referendum on amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the adoption of the updated constitution of the country, a student of Baranovichi State University in Belarus, our compatriot Umarjon olimzhanov expressed the following opinion:
- The constitutional reforms carried out in Uzbekistan are important for strengthening the path of development of our country and democratic institutions.
The constitutional reforms also provide for the expansion of the rights and freedoms of citizens, including freedom of thought, speech and information, the right to participate in elections, as well as the protection of the rights of women, youth and other social groups.
Such changes are aimed at improving the economic, political and social conditions in our country, including attracting investments and supporting social reforms in society.
The main goal of the constitutional reforms is to create the necessary legal framework for strengthening democratic institutions in Uzbekistan, sustainable socio-economic development of the country and further improving the standard of living of the population.
