Representatives of Uzbekistan took part in the 33rd International Art Festival "Slavyanskiy bazar in Vitebsk"

On July 11-13 the 33rd International Art Festival "Slavyanskiy bazar in Vitebsk" took place in the Republic of Belarus.
In connection with the accession of the Republic of Belarus to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, negotiations and meetings were held between the Member States of the SCO National Culture Days and members of the ministers and delegations of culture of the SCO member states, heads of cultural institutions. The First Deputy Minister of culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Avazkhan Tadzhikhanov also took part and gave a speech.
"I would like to highlight the entry of the Republic of Belarus into the SCO. We sincerely welcome our Belarusian colleagues and believe that their participation will bring a new breath into our cultural cooperation. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is not only an international structure, but also a powerful cooperation tool that helps strengthen ties between its member states. The cultural traditions and uniqueness, diversity of our countries have an invaluable potential to strengthen mutual understanding and trust, which in turn serves the Sustainable Development and well-being of our peoples"

Within the framework of the Festival, an event was held on the occasion of negotiations and meetings between ministers of culture of SCO Member Countries, members of official delegations, heads of cultural institutions, the official opening of days of national culture of SCO member countries and the accession of the Republic of Belarus to the SCO as a full member.
Also, within the framework of the festival, pavilions of SCO member countries were organized, and Avazkhan Tadzhikhanov inspected these pavilions and took part in presentation events, master classes of SCO member countries.
Recall that within the framework of this festival, a student of the children's School of music and art No. 1 of Tashkent City Yasmina Husniddinova-the Grand Prix was handed over by the president of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
