"The Modern Painting of Uzbekistan" exhibition will be opened in Minsk

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Public Association ‘Belarusian Union of Artists’ has the honour to invite everyone to the opening of the art exhibition ‘Contemporary Painting of Uzbekistan’, which will be held on 12 February 2025 at 15.00 in the Republican Art Gallery (Palace of Art, 3 Kozlova St., Minsk).

This large-scale project takes place within the framework of co-operation between the Artists' Unions of Belarus and Uzbekistan and is aimed at introducing the Belarusian public to the rich and original art of contemporary Uzbek masters.

The exhibition presents works by artists of different generations, combining the traditions of oriental painting with new artistic trends.

The authors include prominent Uzbek masters, academicians, folk artists, as well as talented representatives of the new wave from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Karshi.
