The costs of registering national products and brands abroad will be reimbursed

Opportunities for Uzbek entrepreneurs to provide legal protection for national products and brands in foreign countries are being expanded.
Up to 100 percent of the costs associated with the registration of national products and brands in foreign authorized bodies will be covered by JSC "Trade Development Company" at the expense of the Trade Facilitation Fund.
The following costs may be reimbursed:
- fees for the registration, extension of the validity period, expansion of territorial coverage, and re-registration of trademarks;
- legal and consulting services;
- translation and processing of documents;
- postal and logistics expenses related to the delivery of documents and samples related to trademarks and brands to foreign competent authorities.
The amount of reimbursement is up to 100 percent of the costs, but not exceeding 20,000 US dollars per calendar year for one business entity.
This opportunity will create additional conditions for entrepreneurs to legally protect their brands in foreign markets, reduce costs in export activities, and bring products under the "Made in Uzbekistan" brand to new markets.
